- Avert: to turn away; He averted when he saw the delicious cake.
- Bizarre: Very Strange; The house was very bizarre there were footsteps upstairs, and the doors opened by themselves.
- Abet: to aid; The medic abetted the injured soldier.
- Agile: quick; The agile football player made his way to the touchdown.
- Antithesis: the opposite; they had the antithesis of escaping the prison.
- Clarify: make (a statement or situation) less confused and more clearly comprehensible; The teacher clarified the home work
- Crucial: decisive or critical; when the boy didn't do his home work his grades crucially were damaged
- Breach: an act of breaking or failing; the bank robber breached open the vault
- Console: to comfort; she consoled him when his grandmother passed away
- Deploy: move into position; the general deployed his troops.
- Doctrine: belief; he had a doctrine about dragons.
- Egress: He egressed to the nearest hatch.
- Gaunt: thin; His gaunt body made him look like a stick.
