This week we did our Monster Narrative, it was fun and entertaining creating and making out monsters. It was fun building up the story with lots excitement and fear, with maybe a twist at the end of some of the stories. My story was about “La Llorona” or “The Weeping Woman”, she was murdered in a river in a small humble village in Mexico. Her name was Maria. She was the most beautiful woman that ever lived, she always thought that she deserved the best husband to marry. She met a man that came to visit the village, her father was very wealthy and “he was a man that can sing and play the guitar” Maria said. They later met and we married. A couple of months later they were married and had children. She had two boys, but there was one problem her husband would go on business trips every three months and wouldn’t come back the following two months. He would come and only pay attention to the children and less on Maria. He already thought of divorcing and marrying someone more of his class, (wealthy). She then went on a stroll one morning with her children she then saw her husband in a carriage with with another woman by his side. She felt a big rage and took it all onto the the children and threw them into the river. She went to go look for them but couldn’t see them anymore they were too deep in the river. She went to the bank of the river to check but there was nothing she drowned in the river looking for them. She was found dead the next morning by a villager. They made a funeral and buried her in a white gown. She haunts every lake including here in the United States and mostly in Mexico, she does this because it is her punishment and now searches for her children. She yells a loud and horrible screech saying “Ay Mis Hijos”. Who ever hears here can move and feels paralyzed, people say if you see her you die where ever you are when you see her. After we did our Narrative we made our 3D model I did a diorama because it thought it would be easier and I all ready had half of the materials for I needed.
