This week on Wednesday we went to the Norton Simon Museum. There were many beautiful exhibitions and collections they had them at the museum. I think many were interesting and amusing and I like how the tour guide gave us an example on the 14th to 16th century art on how they didn't have any TV or newspapers and the artist express themselves and the history behind it by painting. She also said how hard it was to make the paints for the paintings and that they would use lapis lazuli to grind and mix the colors to make the paints but they didn't have the proper tools so it took steps and days to make. One of my favorite paintings there is called the Madonna and Child with book. I love the nice and rich colors of the painting of the artist used. I also like the background because of how realistic it is and the triangular position it is in. The artist also grasped the realism of the hands and small details like that. Norton Simon Museum how is one of the most beautiful art collections I have ever seen. If I can go back I would and I would visit more than just art, I would go see the sculptures and go to the back where they have the small garden with a pond and I would also go visit more of the modern-day art and gold black one the future exhibitions are open and bring money to buy the cool pens and books they have to read and write with.
